What no to do if you want to lose weight
The best way to learn something important is to learn it through experience. If the experience is painful, there are even greater chances that the message will strike home. I was trying to lose weight several years ago. I was not particularly overweight, don"t get me wrong. I just thought that I was a bit fat. Not that I was obsessed or something like that, just a mild kind of misperception. A friend of mine told me that the best way to lose weight was to decrease the amount of fatty food and increase your activity level. Obvious, isn"t it? The problem is, I have a tendency to exaggerate everything. I stopped easing breakfast and dinners because I believed they will significantly affect my weight. For lunch, I just had a cup of yoghurt, two small potatoes and some salad. It might see strange, but after a week or so I stopped feeling hungry. Once I read an article about how your stomach can shrink of you don"t stuff it with so much food. Anyway, I thought I was going to lose weight soon. But unfortunately, I started having some problems. I could not concentrate at work and I had constant headaches. I felt tired and sleepy. What is more, I could not exercise at all! It turns out that you have to eat the proper amount of protein, carbohydrates and fat to be able to go running, swimming or do any other workout.
